Paws Wagon was born from love, heartbreak, and an unbreakable bond with our two adopted furkids — Nani & Nana.
Our journey began in 2019, and Paws Wagon was officially registered in 2020, but the story truly started the day Nani came into our lives. He was adopted from a farm at just 2 months old. From the very beginning, he was fragile — always sick, always fighting something unseen.
By the time Nani turned one, he had already gone through multiple surgeries and was diagnosed with severe hip dysplasia and luxating patella. We held onto hope and proceeded with an FHO surgery on his left hip, believing it would give him a better quality of life. When the vet later told us the surgery was unsuccessful, our hearts shattered. After everything he had already endured, we made the painful decision not to put him through any more surgeries.
But the challenges didn’t stop there.
Over the years, Nani fought bravely through repeated hospitalisations — immune breakdowns, aspiration pneumonia, and countless nights filled with worry, fear, and prayers. Watching him struggle while being unable to take his pain away was one of the hardest things we have ever faced. Nana was different. She was the one we thought was strong, healthy, and worry-free. Until one day, everything changed.
On the first day of Chinese Lunar New Year, when homes were filled with joy and celebration, Nana suddenly passed a large amount of blood in her stool. Panic took over. We rushed her to the hospital immediately, where she was warded for three days due to a severe infection. Those days felt endless. As time passed, Nana began showing other signs — constant head shaking, scratching, and recurring ear infections. Frequent vet visits became unavoidable, and once again, we were reminded how vulnerable our furkids truly are.
Through every tear, every sleepless night, and every vet visit, one truth became painfully clear:
they are not “just pets” — they are family.
That realisation changed us.
We became more intentional, more careful, and more committed to what we gave our furkids — from food to daily care products.
We wanted better. We wanted safer. We wanted the best.
And so, Paws Wagon was created.
Today, Paws Wagon stands for every paw-parent who has felt helpless, afraid, and desperate to do better for their furkid.
Everything we curate is chosen with love, experience, and empathy — because we’ve been there.
This is our promise:
to give pets the same love, care, and quality they deserve as family.
Because when you love them with your whole heart, only the best is ever enough. 🐾💛
