Seasonal Tips
Winter - Dogs living in cold climates can be exposed to dryness or cold, which leads to cracking. Road salt can then enter these cracks and cause infection or burn the skin. Keep the fur between the pads fairly short to reduce the risk of snow and dirt getting trapped. Avoiding large lumps of snow between the pads also reduces the risk of frostbite in cold weather.
Summer - Dogs living in hot climates are sometimes exposed to hot concrete and excessive sweat, which can also damage the pads. Let your dog walk on the grass instead of the hot pavement whenever possible, and avoid walking during the sunniest times of day.

Moisturise the pads with lukewarm water. Apply the paw pin gently on the pads. For best results, do not let your dog lick the product off the pad immediately afterwards.
If there are small cracks on the pads, it is important to clean them with lukewarm water before application for the protective effect.
